People like you are why children murder continues. People who care more for babykilling abortionists than for the innocent babies they murder. When will you "pro-life" hypocrites defend the unborn child in the way you would want to be defended if someone was about to murder you?

When I first received this e-mail, I suspected that someone was abusing Spitz's name; why would the "real" "Rev. Donald Spitz" waste time with a peon like me? The full header indicated that it was sent through an ISP in Norfolk, Virginia; "Pro-Life" Virginia is headquartered in Chesapeake, a Norfolk suburb, so I assume the sender was the "real" "Rev. Donald Spitz." Contemporaneously, he sent similar messages to other Internet pro-life advocates including Carolyn Gargaro and Lara "Sehlat" Ray.
"Reverend" Donald Spitz is a signatory of the "Defensive Action Statement" which reads in part, "We, the undersigned, declare the justice of taking all godly action necessary to defend innocent human life including the use of force. We proclaim that whatever force is legitimate to defend the life of a born child is legitimate to defend the life of an unborn child." This is generally in keeping with our jurisprudence which recognizes the killing of a perpetrator in self-defense or in the defense of an innocent as justifiable homicide if the perpetrator is in the commission of a criminal act which threatens life or limb. Absent this threatening criminal act, the killing of a perpetrator is criminal homicide; that is, manslaughter or murder.
The first problem with "Defensive Action" is that "all godly action" includes killing abortionists at any time and any place, not just while the abortionist is killing preborn children by means of abortion in an abortuary. The second problem with "Defensive Action" is that even when the abortionist is killing preborn children by means of abortion in an abortuary, the abortionist is not in the commission of a criminal act, as abortion, however regrettably and offensively, is a form of legal homicide in most cases as long as Roe v. Wade stands. In both cases, killing abortionists simply because they are abortionists is murder, and murder is never a legitimate method of pro-life activism.
Apparently, Spitz didn't make much effort to explore my site in depth. Otherwise, he would have gotten onto me for being both an atheist and the founder/webmaster of the Atheist and Agnostic Pro-Life League and for linking to the Pro-Life Alliance of Gays and Lesbians and Feminists for Life! Even so, he proves himself to be both a hypocrite and a coward by harassing "'pro-life' hypocrites" instead of putting his beliefs into practice.
