How did you find me?: Googled "bush landslide"
Do you like my site?: Nah
Will you visit again?: Probably not
Will you recommend site to others?: Are you kidding?
Do you think I'm insane?: No, you're not intelligent enough

Comments:
"Rational human being" and "support George Bush" are mutually exclusive except to the delusional.

Webmaster's Response:
This individual wandered onto my site on a Google search on "bush landslide" in which the following was result #58 of about 130,000:

Where are the Democrats for election '92?
... The unwillingness of these Democratic "leaders" to play sacrificial lamb to what
is conceded to be, 14 months before the fact, a Bush landslide has created a ...
www.compleatheretic.com/pubs/columns/dems_mia.html - 10k - Cached - Similar pages
And his/her 4:33 minute visit included:
19:25:00 EDT   Where are the Democrats for election '92?
19:25:09 EDT   favicon.ico
19:27:11 EDT   Homepage
19:28:18 EDT   Guestbook Central
19:28:22 EDT   Guestbook Form
Apparently this individual found my 13-year-old column from the days when I was politically unaffiliated sufficiently interesting to add it to his/her "favorites," but then he/she couldn't have read the piece in nine seconds and probably saved the link reflexively.

I was amused both by this individual's ability to gauge my intelligence based on a brief visit to two of my many web pages and by his/her notion that insanity requires a certain level of intelligence! I also noted his/her need to denigrate my intelligence which is often the case with those who disagreeably disagree with me.

This individual obviously despised my pro-Bush 2004 header on my homepage given his/her suggestion that supporting President Bush is irrational which only demonstrates that he/she is "delusional." If you want "irrational" and/or "delusional," look no further than Howard Dean, Al Gore, and perhaps the majority of the Democratic party during Campaign 2004.

What's "delusional" is accepting John Kerry's spiel that we should elect him Commander-in-Chief in a time of war because he is a great war hero in spite of the fact that he opposed the war of which he claims to be a hero and protested that war in part by "returning" the emblems of that heroism, his own, borrowed, or whatever was actually the case, medals, ribbons, or whatever was actually the case.

What's "delusional" is believing that John Kerry would be a better Commander-in-Chief than George Bush in spite of all evidence to the contrary. John Kerry betrayed the American brotherhood of arms by calumniating his comrades in his 1971 Senate testimony. John Kerry sullied the reputation of the American armed forces for his personal gain. Veterans know they can never trust John Kerry which is why they are supporting the re-election of President George W. Bush by a 2-to-1 margin, including this veteran!

-- James Matthew (Matt) Wallace, aka The Compleat Heretic, who, as an honorably discharged Army sergeant, a proud and patriotic American, and a rational human being, enthusiastically supports the re-election of President George W. Bush!

I, too, am an athiest and will probably be voting for Bush. While my beliefs at the moment tend to be more libertarian, I do like how Bush is being very tough with dictators and spreading freedom to areas of the world where it was never dreamed to be possible.

It is very difficult for some reason to find athiests who believe Government isn't the answer. It seems to me that individual liberty and not bureaucracy is the solution to the human condition.

Thank you for your website!

THE COMMITEE TO ASSIST UNELECT THE UNELECTED PRESIDENT GEORGE W BUSH

[Remainder of comments, an index of 33 pages with hyperlinks which obviously contain the ignorant spew of the stereotypical Bush-haters, removed by webmaster to preserve the integrity of this guestbook and the site it serves. -- The Compleat Heretic]

Webmaster's Response:
I'm uncertain as to how or when Mr. Watt actually found my site. As I can find no other activity in my access logs, he probably found the site on an earlier visit, bookmarked the Guestbook, and returned here directly to spew his ignorance.

This stereotypical Bush-hater utterly betrays himself as such by referring to the President as "THE UNELECTED PRESIDENT." Only utter morons can deny that George W. Bush was duly elected President of the United States under the full auspices of the Constitution. As long as the "selected, not elected" crowd continues to whine about the legitimate results of the 2000 election, they will only enervate themselves, and that's a very good thing for the Republic.

And finally:

Bush/Cheney '04 banner with President George Walker Bush addressing the troops

This site's webmaster, as an honorably discharged Army sergeant,
a proud and patriotic American, and a rational human being,
enthusiastically supports the re-election of President George W. Bush!

Moravians aren't German. They are fom what is now the Czech Republic.

Webmaster's Response:
On my Autobiography: Vital Statistics page, under "Ancestry," "Moravian" is not a geographical reference, but rather a religious one. The Moravian Church is the common name for the Unitas Fratrum, or Unity of Brethren, which is the oldest of the Protestant denominations; the early adherents were ethnic Germans who fled ultimately to America in the mid-1700s to escape Catholic persecution. In the US, the church's northern province is headquartered in Bethlehem, PA, and the southern province is headquartered in Winston-Salem, NC, my hometown. My Moravian ancestors helped settle the 98,985 acre Wachovia tract during the two decades prior to the Revolution; the tract is wholly within Forsyth County and constitutes three-eighths of the county's total area.

I was stationed with you in Aschaffenburg! Among my "war stories" (of which my husband from the 82nd Airborne says don't count because we weren't the "real" army) is your trip to Scotland during which the stock market crashed and you returned with your kilt. Loved the picture! Brings back one of the few fond military memories I have. I knew there was something I liked about you back then...Wallace blood and all. Couldn't have known it then, but it explains a lot about my personality! I was only in Germany from August of 87 to January of 88, but you made life interesting!!!! I'd love to hear from you. Will enjoy surfing your website! (I was the commo for C Co. downstairs.)

Webmaster's Response:
Howdy Michelle! Always good to hear from my fellow GI Aschaffenburgers; hmm, perhaps I need to create an A-burg photo page. And given hubby's lack of experience with heavy divisions, please inform him of the vital role combat services support units perform in the combat arms units' accomplishment of their missions. Our old 26th Forward Support Battalion now supports the 3rd ID's 2nd Brigade, and did so in Operation Iraqi Freedom. The Charge to Baghdad would have been impossible without logistical support: HQ & Alpha Company provided the fuel, ammo, and food; Bravo Company kept the Abrams tanks and Bradleys repaired and moving, and Charlie Company cared for the wounded. I would tell your husband to pack up his "military elitism" and to go take a flying leap, but he obviously enjoys that sort of thing. And from perfectly good airplanes at that!

Well, if nothing else, this Aussie turd is a persistent little Internet crank. This time he sought out guestbooks of North Carolina Republican web sites. Unlike his first visit, he visited a page outside of my guestbook. His Google Australia search for "north carolina republican guestbook" took him to my photo essay of Horace Cooper's 1994 speech at UNCG. Of course, he stayed on the page only long enough to access the guestbook where he quickly dropped his latest load.

[Remainder of asinine anti-Bush diatribe deleted to preserve the integrity of this guestbook. -- The Compleat Heretic]

Webmaster's Response:
If you doubt my characterization of the deleted material, the first paragraph contained the following outrageous, patently false, demonstrably fallacious assertion: "Osama bin Laden--himself a collaborator with the CIA in Afghanistan." This lie is perfectly clear from the facts that bin Laden was so wealthy that he didn't need American aid, that he wouldn't have accepted it if it was offered, and most importantly, that he absolutely hated America and Americans, even in the 1980s, and wouldn't have had anything to do with them outside of killing them. If you want to find out for yourself what this Aussie turd is about, go to his site.

Also, this Aussie turd is nothing but an Internet crank out to spam what he obviously views as the guestbooks of opposition web sites. He entered my site on a Google Australia search for "young republican guestbooks" and went no further than pages related to my guestbook. He stayed only long enough to drop his load.

9:05:40 EST   Guestbook
9:05:46 EST   Guestbook Central
9:05:49 EST   Guestbook Form
Finally, change your name you Aussie turd, or at least your surname, as such a proud and courageous name is wasted on a pusillanimous cur like you.
