As of 24 March 2014, the venerable Award Sites! awards rating system (1997-2014) had ceased operations, and its website had been converted to an archive of its highest rated programs. Award programs will continue to be acknowledged by their last Award Sites! rating if such is known.

Description: Alice Pandora, a Brazilian webmistress from São Paulo, "recognizes website builders that have created a nice web site, with beautiful images, well written texts with content and easy navigation." Sites are evaluated on content, functionality, graphics, safety, navigation, and usefulness.
Citation: "Congratulations, you have an excellent site. You have put forth the best design, navigation and content. Your site deserves my gold award. Keep up the good work."

Kit Award
|
Description: The Kit Awards Program, operated by Brazilian webmaster Carlos Simões Vieira, "aims to reward the creativity, the effort, the devotion, the beauty, the content and to recognize the arduous work of the Webmaster/Webmistress." Sites are evaluated on content, navigation, and design.
Citation: "It is a great pleasure to announce that your site 'Matt Wallace's The Compleat Heretic' has been successfully evaluated. 'Site that deals with the life of the author, has his autobiography, an extensive relationship of its publications and many photographs and even a page dedicated to its mascot 'Heterodoxos.' Pemaweb Award

Description: The Pemaweb Award Program, operated by Peter Bähr of Braunschweig, Germany, offers awards to honor the trouble, diligence, and care of webmasters who provide extraordinary web sites and thus contribute to a genuine enriching of the Internet. Sites are evaluated on content, design, layout, and ease of navigation.
Citation: In German: "Vielen Dank für die Einladung Deine Seiten zu besuchen und bewerten zu dürfen. Deine Webpräsenz hat ungewöhnliche Inhalte und interessante Perspektive über das Leben, Liebe und Hass. Die Art und Weise deines Schreibstils lässt den Besucher an deinen intimsten Gedanken und Geschichten teilnehmen. Deine Homepage lädt durch die gut zu bedienende Navigation und dem schlichten Design den Besucher zur Wiederkehr ein. Penmarric's Rexellent Page Award

Description: Penmarric Cornish Rex, the site of Cornish Rex cat breeder Lin Smith, rewards webmasters for the "dedication, time, and a lot of hard work" required for their "contribution[s] to make the web a safer, better place to surf" and "to applaud all efforts the webmasters have gone to, to bring these sites to 'life' and reminding us that there is good in this world of ours." Sites are evaluated on content, design, navigation, and creativity.
Citation: "Thank you for your interest in our awards programs. I really enjoyed visiting your site again. You have made some really good changes, enough to push you into range for our top awards. Moon Award
|
Description: Jenny Maass, also known as Die Mondfrau (The Moonlady), an Austrian webmistress and retired journalist, recognizes other webmistresses and webmasters with the Moon Award "as an honor for the untiring work [they] might do in designing a website: for its contents and its design. Additionally, it is a stimulus for [them] to develop and learn further, and not to lose [their] enthusiasm." Sites are evaluated on content, design, and navigation.
Citation: "Thank for your application for the MOON AWARD and for inviting us to visit your web site, Matt Wallace's The Compleat Heretic. You created a web site with some very unusual contents.
